Samruk-Energy at the XXI Kazakhstan–Russia interregional cooperation forum

Samruk-Energy stand at the forum in Uralsk

The XXI Kazakhstan–Russia interregional cooperation forum was held in Uralsk. The central theme — "Skilled trades as drivers of economic growth" — focused on workforce training and technological development across industries.

At the exhibition, Samruk-Energy presented an expo reflecting the holding's key areas: models of Ekibastuz GRES-2 and a wind power unit, work tools, as well as smart helmets and other personal protective equipment (PPE) used at power plants. Visitors could see the combination of industrial aesthetics, engineering precision, and modern occupational safety solutions.

School and college students showed particular interest in the stand. Samruk-Energy representatives spoke about the group's enterprises and the professions most in demand in the energy sector today — from equipment operation to digital monitoring and safety management on the line.

The forum brought together representatives of government, business, and educational and scientific organizations from both countries. The program aimed to strengthen business ties, develop industrial and energy potential in the regions, and promote current formats for training specialists amid industry digitalization.

The forum has traditionally served as a platform for sharing experience, presenting joint initiatives, and shaping prospective directions for interregional cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia in industry and related fields.
